Mark is a licensed Enrolled Agent through the Internal Revenue Service and has ten years of experience in taxation policies and income tax procedures. As the owner of Shoreline Tax Solutions LLC, Mark brings his deep knowledge, supporting credentials and extensive experience in taxation to every client interaction. His goal is to help people understand and navigate the increasing complexity of IRS tax laws. Mark ensures his clients take full advantage of tax credits and deductions they are entitled to, including some of the more obscure ones most individuals don’t know about. As an Enrolled Agent, Mark can offer a host of services to his clients - from consulting on a better tax future, to preparing and submitting your tax return electronically and even representing you in the event of an IRS letter or Audit.

Mark holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Central Connecticut State University and is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents. As a local resident and member of the Madison Chamber of Commerce, he believes in the value of investing in the community and small businesses.

I often meet with people to consult on their future tax year, whether it be the sale of a house, growing family or starting a new business.

What is an enrolled agent?

An Enrolled Agent is a federally authorized tax practitioner empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The credential is recognized across all 50 states and Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential awarded by the IRS. To become an EA, an individual must pass a three part exam or work at the IRS for 5 years, and pass a background check that includes a review of their personal and business tax compliance. Enrolled Agents represent taxpayers before the IRS for tax issues including audits, collections and appeals.
